On October 1st we had a national holiday and so the temple was open. We were very busy all day. One of our biggest days. We had twelve oe and every session was full and over flowing and sisters waiting for initiatory. After the temple closed the Sister Temple Missionaries took the bus to WanChai for the District RS conference. I was able to meet up with our wonderful friend Velma Labboa. She is getting a new job in a few weeks and we are so happy for her. We spent the three breakout sessions together.
This week in the temple we had a couple from India who came to be sealed. Wonderful story. She served a mission in the Philippines. He has been a member for two years. They met through YSA reps and are from different parts of the country and now they are a forever family.
The other two YSA are from mainland China, again different parts. They met through some YSA activities. He has a mission call to Australia in February. He came to HK to receive his endowment and she did baptisms. The other brother is his Branch Group Leader. Sister Fu is a friend of Alice's.
The Jones off to Ocean Park. They have had a great time at the temple and seeing Hong Kong.
Brother Liang and Sister Fu came over to the apartment for dinner.

6 am in the morning ride the train to the temple. Pretty empty.
Wednesday evening Sister Victor, Hathaway and I came back to the temple to meet with Sister Aki's dressmaker.
Sunday we went to Church in Bishop Lee's Ward. He is the chiropractor who helps Paul with his neck and knee. They have translators for their meetings because so many visitors come from patron housing.

From there we went to our Branch meeting and got home that night about 8:30. Wonderful weekend. Looking forward to seeing conference again next weekend. The temple will be closed on Saturday for it.
