Monday evening Elder & Sister Martinez took us out to dinner to Carmines, an Italian restaurant. It was very good and we brought home so much food. The Martinez's used our apartment during shutdown when their family was in town. He is the Area Doctor from Kentucky.
Our highlight this week was when the Kingsbridge 2nd Ward came to the temple Saturday afternoon. A group came at 3:00 to do baptisms. The Elders, Staker, Brown and DeGraw brought the following with them.
 |
| Mar Jean Frank and Paul |
 |
| KoJo Elder Staker Elder DeGraw, Avery Johnson, Jeethro Ardina, Mar Jean, Jennifer Garcia, Elder Brown, Eric Mariano |
The other group came with Frank Bartholeme who was receiving his endowment.

| Elder Tabor, Bro. Fergeson, Bro. Matheson, Elder Lewis, Andre Johnson, Elder DeGraw and Elder Pula and FRANK in front on the phone talking to his wife Gina |

| Four Sisters also attended. I am here with Sister Sherril Grant, RS Presidency, and Sister Woods |
We invited them all back to our apartment, not all at once, for fajitas and a look at the city on the roof. So fun to have them in our home.
Sunday we left early for Ward Council and after the Block we had our missionary correlation meeting and said our goodbyes to Elders DeGraw who is going to Connecticut and Elder Tabor who is coming to Manhattan YSA.

Monday we went to Governors Island with Sister Thompson, Elder & Sister Mumford, Holoway and us. Had a great time. Lovely place. Rode bikes around the island and took a tour of the prison and learned all the history since the 1600's of the island.
