We are leaving for the airport as we speak. We fly out on Delta at 4:40 pm and go to Paris where we change planes and fly into Ljubljana, Slovenia where we will be picked up by Pres. and Sister Hill.
We will be flying with five Elders and 3 Sisters also going to Slovenia and Croatia. We went to the MTC last night for the Farewell Fireside. They actually had all the Senior Couples separated from the young missionaries because of the flu. Don't want any of us getting sick.
Thanks to so many of you have helped prepare us for this day. We love and appreciate each and every one of you. A special thanks to our family, children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters. You are such an inspiration to us and we love you all. We will be sending more information as we get settled.
President Hill said to bring our faith, diligence and flexibility with us and we suggest each of us carry that along with us wherever we go.

We've been thinking about you and praying for you. So glad Kelly wrote that you arrived safely. I hope the flights were not too tiring for you. What wonderful experiences you will have on this special mission. We hope all is going well for you. You're in our prayers.
