This morning he received a call from an Architect that would be able to serve in October!! What a tender mercy as we serve and ask for help!!
Kimberly, Mallorie and Brayden arrived Monday evening. Paul and I had already checked into the condo in Waikiki on Saturday. We were super close to the beach and had a nice time there. They climbed Diamond Head, swam in the ocean, Mallorie took a surf board lesson. She really enjoyed it but got a terrible burn being out on the water for two hours. We drove around the bottom of the island to the lighthouse but got there too late to climb to it. We walked around Ioloni Palace but no one wanted to go in so we checked out the Hawaii 5-O building.
We came out to Laie Friday afternoon. Saturday we went with about 70 senior missionaries and students out to Chinaman's Hat. It was very rocky. We went at low tide. Paul and I climbed around the waters edge to the tide pools and small beach area. The others climbed to the top of the island. We were tired when we got back.
Saturday evening we went to the PCC around 9 pm to watch the Cook Island program. They were very good and must have been exhausted by the end of the day. Someone said they had done three programs already.
