Paul and Mar Jean Lewis: July 15

Monday the 15th we were invited to Ryan, our India friends, 5th birthday party. It was a surprise for a 5 year old, all things transformers. She decorated a portion of the culture hall and had delicious India food. We had several things going that night so got there at 5 put she was just setting up, we left and went somewhere we had to be at 6 and then came back at 8 to eat and then to an Alohe OE at the Visitor Center.

Tuesday Kimberly, Courtney and Amy arrived. We went into the temple early that day and did some temple work for our family, it was also Ward temple night and we had time to go before picking them up. Kimerly's plane got in a little early but Amy's was way late and didn't get in until 11:45 pm. We picked up the first group at 9:30, went to Walmart to wait for Amy. We were all pretty tired by the time we got home around 1 am. Wednesday we checked out the beaches and went snorkeling at Sharks Cove. Thursday they went to the PCC all day and enjoyed the luau and the night show.
Friday we went to the macadamia farm and did the tour. Brother Tufunga was there and gave us banannas and coconut and mango (for free). We enjoyed the tour and each got a braided headband. Saturday we went to Waikiki into the condo. Sunday we went to Church in the Tabernacle and then they drove us back out to Laie where Paul spoke in a YSA Ward on sacrifice, then we did "Just Serve" and then dinner at the Nichols and a fireside at the VC with a missionary who does the steel guitar.

Monday Emily and Stuart took the Broadbents, Hunts and me, Kimberly Courtney and Amy to Pearl Harbor. It was a wonderful day seeing the museums, show, taking the boat ride eout past the Arizona Memorial then on to the air base where we had lunch on the beach and then saw the American flag that was flying on December 7, 1941 and some other memorbilia. We were too tired to go to FHE taht night plus did not have a ride, Kimberly had the car.

Our new schedule at the temple is working well with three couples. The Hunts arrived last week and jumped right in.

Amy went home Monday night. Kimberly and Courtney stayed down at the condo and came out Wednesday and we went canoeing with Pastor Sage at Kahanna Bay. Very fun. These are the people from "Just Serve" that we deliver the food to each week. That evening the three of us girls went to see "Lion King".

I like the mid day shift. I got to do a 10:00 session, a wedding and an own endowment, one each day. Paul also has gone in early for an own endowment and officiated several sessions this week. Mid day is 9:30 - 3:30.

e attended the Ward and spoke on Sunday and found all these wonderful sisters attend this ward. Sister Nilson and are ordinance workers and Sister Hutchins and are patrons who come weekly.
